There are three reels and only one pay line, just like the oldest of old-school slot machines. The minimum coin denomination is .25 per coin and the maximum is five per coin. You have to choose to play up to three coins, so your maximum bet is 15. Not the most exciting thing for high rollers, but there's still some action there.

Icons include a single cherry, a double cherry, and a triple cherry, plus an orange and a watermelon. The watermelon is the wildcard symbol (just like the name Wild Melon suggests!), and can replace any other icon needed to win.

It can also deliver wins on its own, in any position, even if it does not line up with another icon to make a win. In fact, it's the biggest payout of any of the symbols – if you hit three watermelons along the pay line, it's a multiplier of 10,000x your bet. And even if those three are in any position, it's still 1,000x. Not bad!

Look, there's not a lot going on with this slot machine game. There are no crazy features, or cutscenes, or bonus features, or anything like that. But sometimes, it's nice to sit back and relax while playing a simple, retro-style game that recalls the Las Vegas of yesteryear.

With basic fruit symbols, classic sounds and a straightforward pay table, this could be the game for newcomers, or for anyone who wants to take it easy. If it's only one pay line, can you even call it a pay “table”?
