Microgaming has done it again with a true video poker experience. Joker Poker is designed to look just like the old video poker machines did, back in the day.
In this game, you're going to be playing five-card draw poker. You are dealt five cards. Then you choose which cards to discard and which ones to keep. The discarded cards are then replaced. As the name would suggest, there is a joker in the deck that can be wild. It's a huge help when you're trying to make the big winning combination.
You can also choose “expert” mode, which will replace the cards for you based on mathematical probability.
Once you have won you have the option to try to double your winnings. You and the dealer each choose a card. If your card is higher than the dealers you'll get double your win. If it's lower you'll lose.
The minimum bet is .25 credits. The maximum is 25 credits. Just as in the casino version of video poker, the pay table is in clear view and takes up a majority of the screen. There comes your playing field, where your five cards will appear. Under that, at the bottom of the screen, it shows you how many credits you have, your game history, the “expert” mode button, how many coins you're betting with buttons to double to collect, your bet with options to bet one or bet the maximum, and a win total and finally, the “Deal” button.
