Double Play Superbet

NextGen Gaming has released their latest slot machine game, and it's called Doubleplay Super Bet. It's optimized for computer, tablet and mobile device use, and you can play for free or for real money.

There's no theme, per se. Its symbols are the classics, like lemons, big red sevens, cherries, bells, stars, a horseshoe, diamonds and more. The five-by-three reel grid is transparent, which makes the deep-toned background come through and really lets the symbols shine.

The player's total bet and balance are shown up top, while down below is the win total. Also down there are the spin button, which is not the usual circular arrow but a green play – red stop button combination.

The big draws of this game are many. First there are the SUPERBET controls, that let you choose the number of reels you want to enhance with stacked wilds and wild multipliers. Get three or more Doubleplay Bet wins, and you have 15 free games with double the wild prizes on enhanced reels.

You can play the Doubleplay option to win more with bigger wild multipliers, or the Super Bet to win more with more enhanced reels. With both features, the bet increases with each option.

As for regular gameplay, payouts for the symbols range from 50 coins for plums to 500 coins for diamonds. Five scatter symbols can garner you 2500 coins. Your winning combinations are shown not only via payout lines, but the symbols themselves enlarge and become animated.

After each win, a button down below lights up, letting you choose a quick bonus game where you choose red or black, or a suit. A card is drawn, and you win or lose.  The stakes are clearly marked, and you also see the card history as well, so you can make as much of an informed choice as possible for this type of 50/50 game.
